Established in 2003, Groen Enterprises Inc (GEI) proudly stands as a family-owned and operated transportation company. Founded by Keith Groen and carried forward by his son, Wade, GEI has transformed into a distinguished player in the transportation industry, guided by a steadfast commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

Founding Principles:
At GEI, our foundation rests on the pillars of honest and reliable service. With a moderately sized fleet, we distinguish ourselves by delivering a more personalized and attentive approach to our customers’ needs. Since day one, we’ve aimed to exceed expectations on every shipment, adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and safety.

A Journey Through Generations:
Keith Groen’s journey in the trucking industry commenced at the young age of 17 in SW MN, hauling livestock, grain, and milk. His expertise expanded as he moved to WA State in the early 80s, engaging in dispatch and maintenance operations. In 2003, Keith founded GEI with a single truck, setting the stage for a family legacy.

Wade, following in his father’s footsteps, earned his ASE Diesel Technician Certification and gained valuable experience in WA as a Heavy Duty Towing and Recovery operator and a diesel technician. In 2005, he relocated to NC to join his father. Since then, the GEI fleet has grown to over 26 trucks and more than 50 trailers, reflecting the family’s dedication and hard work.

Hands-On Commitment:
The entire GEI staff understand the intricacies of the industry, wearing multiple hats to ensure the company’s seamless operations. Their hands-on approach, whether delivering loads, handling specialty freight, or performing maintenance tasks, provides continuous insight into the ever changing trends on the road and in the shop.  At GEI, we service and repair our own trucks in house streamlining the turnaround time when there are breakdowns and repairs needed. 

Customer-Centric Services:
GEI specializes in multi-stop truckload and single-stop truckload services, complemented by refrigerated truckload services. For the convenience of our customers, we also offer drop trailers, streamlining loading processes.
